Also known as liposculpture, traditional liposuction is a surgical procedure that remodels specific areas of the body, removing excess fat deposits, improving the contour and proportion of various areas of the body: thighs, arms, neck, waist, back, abdomen , flanks and cheeks.
This surgery is recommended for patients who, despite good health, nutrition and regular exercise, still have fat accumulation. In some cases it is performed alone, but it can also be associated with other surgeries such as facelift, breast reduction, silicone implants or abdominoplasty.
It is worth remembering that liposuction is not a treatment for obesity and does not replace physical exercise and good eating habits.
Breast augmentation, also popularly known as “silicone”, is a surgical procedure that seeks to increase the size or volume of the breasts through the implantation of a silicone prosthesis.
It is recommended for patients seeking to increase the size and projection of their breasts, correct asymmetry (breasts disproportionate to the body), improve self-esteem and self-confidence, and breast reconstruction after pregnancy. For cases with excess skin and sagging, breast lifting is recommended, which can be associated with breast augmentation for better results.
An arm lift, also known as brachioplasty, reduces excess skin and fat between the armpit and elbow, reshapes the arm, leaving the skin firmer and more uniform, providing a toned appearance.
Note: To improve your image, the scar will be on the inside of your arm.
Also known as blepharoplasty, eyelid surgery improves the appearance of the upper, lower eyelids, or both. The surgery provides a rejuvenated appearance around the eyes.
This surgery is indicated to remove excess fat deposits that appear as swelling in the upper eyelids, loose or sagging skin that creates folds that sometimes impair vision.
Surgical removal of cancerous lesions and other skin lesions using specialized techniques to preserve the patient’s health and appearance. The plastic surgeon understands the patient’s concerns, indicating which repair surgery is most suitable, depending on the type of injury: burn, scar or keloid.
High definition liposuction, also known as HD or LAD, is an evolution of traditional lipo that, in addition to eliminating localized fat, aims to highlight each patient’s muscular anatomy. With more visible muscles, the result of this surgical procedure is more natural and the patient can have a more athletic and defined silhouette.
Recommended for both men and women, patients who are candidates for this surgery must undergo a clinical evaluation and have a healthy body composition, normal BMI, practice sports regularly and be careful with their diet. Thus, the results are more harmonious, lasting and compatible with the patient’s physical aspects.
LAD lipo can also be associated with technologies such as Renuvion, Bodytite and Surgical Laser with the aim of providing greater skin retraction and greater fat breakdown.
Reduction mammoplasty, also known as breast reduction, is a surgical procedure that removes excess fat, glandular tissue and excess skin for a breast that is more proportional to the patient’s body.
It is recommended for patients who feel discomfort, such as back pain and postural changes associated with the weight of the breasts or who seek to reduce the size, volume and improve the symmetry of the breasts for a better fit of clothes and self-esteem.
Gluteoplasty, also known as gluteal surgery, is a surgical procedure that aims to add volume and remodel the buttocks region. It is recommended for patients with small buttocks, a flat shape or those with sagging and loss of support.
The gluteal fat grafting technique, generally associated with liposuction, involves the plastic surgeon extracting fat from a part of the body (abdomen, belly, flanks, arms or thighs) and repositioning the fat in the gluteal region, improving volume and contour. .
It is very important to highlight that gluteoplasty does not correct stretch marks, sagging and cellulite. These imperfections are treated through other technologies and surgical procedures.
Otoplasty, known as ear surgery, can improve the shape, position or proportions of the ears, correcting defects present in the structure of the ears since birth or treating deformed ears caused by injury.
Otoplasty creates a natural shape, giving balance and proportion to the ears and face to benefit appearance and self-esteem.
The surgery specifically treats:
Very large ears – a rare condition called macrotia;
• Protruding ears that occur on one or both sides to varying degrees – not associated with hearing loss;
• Adult dissatisfaction with previous ear surgery.
Abdominoplasty is a surgical procedure that aims to remove excess fat and skin from the abdomen, helping to reduce sagging of the belly, leaving it with a smoother and more toned appearance, in addition to removing stretch marks and scars present in the area.
This surgery can be performed on both women and men and is mainly recommended for those who have lost a lot of weight or for women who, after pregnancy, have excess sagging in the abdominal region.
In some clinical conditions, abdominoplasty can be associated with liposuction for better aesthetic results (abdominoplasty with liposuction, lipoabdominoplasty and abdominoplasty with lipo). The removed fat can be used to increase other areas of the body (liposculpture).
Also known as breast lifting surgery, mastopexy is a surgical procedure to correct naturally “drooping” breasts due to aging, weight loss or breastfeeding. The objective is to remove excess skin and reposition the areola and breast tissue, improving symmetry, proportion and sagging.
Mastopexy does not require the use of a prosthesis, however it can be performed in conjunction with a silicone implant. It is worth remembering that breast lifting does not reverse the natural aging process, and there may be a recurrence of breast loss over the years. Therefore, combining the procedure with silicone implants guarantees better and longer-lasting results.
Nymphoplasty or labiaplasty is a plastic surgery of the intimate region that allows to reduce the size of the small vaginal lips, being indicated for women who present hypertrophy in this area, when the small vaginal lips are too large, when the anatomy of the vaginal lips causes discomfort during sexual intercourse, when the size of the labia causes discomfort, shame or low self-esteem.
This surgery is relatively quick, lasting around an hour, and the patient generally spends only one night in hospital, being discharged the next day. Recovery can cause some discomfort and, therefore, it is very important to follow all the doctor’s recommendations and avoid physical exertion, including not going to work for the first 10 to 15 days.
In any case, before deciding to undergo surgery, you should consult a plastic surgeon and clarify any doubts.
Technically known as rhytidectomy, facial surgery is a procedure that improves visible signs of aging on the face and neck such as:
Flaccidity in the middle third of the face;
• Deep creases below the lower eyelids;
• Deep creases along the nose that extend to the corner of the mouth;
• Fat that has dropped or been displaced;
• Loss of muscle tone in the lower face, which can cause double chin;
• Loose skin and excess fat deposits under the chin and jaw.
Rejuvenation procedures typically performed along with a facelift are a forehead lift, to correct a sagging or frowning forehead, and eyelid surgery, to rejuvenate the eye area.
